Secret Lagi

Assalamuaalaikum and hello everyone.

Hari ni, saya nak share about going to Secret Recipe LAGI. Mentang-mentang secret tu depan USM jer, so, almost every month memang pi sana dengan kawan makan kek. So, biasanya kitaorg akan pergi ramai-ramai pukul around 3-6pm sebab free air coffee or tea.

Why have to go ramai2? Banyak faedahnya. Selain dapat chat kat sane, dapat tukar-tukar makan kek. Hampir semua kek dah aku try. Kan jimat cam ni. Maklumlah student, kena always find ways to enjoy in cheaper way. =)

Chocolate Fudge, White Chocolate Macademia, Yogurt Cheese, White Dark Chocolate Cheese and Banana Baked Cheese. Rotating! Makan sikit-sikit sorang. Tapi kenyang kut! Dah tak payah makan dinner.

Promote sikit! =P

By the way, setelah banyak-banyak kek yang aku makan kat Secret Recipe, ak rasa yang paling aku minat ialah White Chocolate Macademia. Rasa white chocolate dengan kacang macademia yang pure memang masyuk! Nice combination!

Inilah geng-geng yang pantang ajak pi Secret Recipe. Hehehe. Thanks guys. =)

Ooo. Lupa, tadi ada tengok Oh My English. Nice sitcom to watch. Tak kering gusi tengok di samping memantapkan penggunaan bahasa English. So, kalau ada masa, jemput tengok. Tak kan menyesal punye. Assalamualaikum and have a blessed weekend. =)

Nasi Arab

Assalamualaikum and what's up there?

It has been a long time my brother (Abe) didn't cook Nasi Arab for us. Nasi Arab known for its spice. Totally delicious! So, yesterday, Abe come to cook Nasi Arab. But, yang lainnya hari ni, dia akan guna ayam kampung.

Terung.Kubis Bunga.Ubi Kentang

Saya tak belajar lagi resipi nak buat nasi arab. Tapi, sayur kat atas tuh, sayalah yang goreng. Hehehe. Penat jugak tunggu sebab Abe kata kena betul2 garing baru sedap nasi arab tu nanti. Guna 3 jenis sayur- terung, kubis bunga dan ubi kentang.

Ayam direbus terlebih dahulu menggunakan beberapa rempah. Beras digaul dengan beberapa rempah termasuk serbuk lada hitam. Lepas tu, time nak tanak nasi, just aturkan sayur yang telah digoreng garing kat base periuk diikuti ayam yang direbus. Then baru nasi. Gunakan air rebusan ayam untuk menanak nasi arab ni. Basically, nasi arab ni guna banyak rempah-ratus dari timur tengah. Dah nama nasi arab kan, mestilah berempah! Mmmmm, sedapnya.

Dah siap!

So, buat punya buat, akhirnya siap lah nasi arab kegemaran kami sekeluarga. Rupa dah jadi macam nasi goreng sebab semua mixed together- sayur, ayam and nasi. So, nasi arab ni sangat healthy.

Acar

Nasi Arab ni lagi sedap makan dengan acar. Senang jer buat acar ni. Timun dan tomato dipotong dadu. Daun ketumbar dihiris halus. Gaul semua sekali then tambah perahan lemon or cuka. Letak gula sikit. Siap! Saya sangat suka acar ni kerana rasa daun ketumbar!

Untuk dihidang.

Menu hidangan makan tengah hari dan makan malam kami ialah Nasi Arab! Sangat tak puas makan nasi arab ni. Kalau boleh, tiap-tiap hari mahu makan nasi arab ni. Tapi, apekan daya.

Dental Night Out

Assalamualaikum and what's up there?

Last night, as today (11th April 2012) is the public holiday, so we decided to go out eat at one of nearby restaurants - Restoran Platinum Ikan Bakar. It's located behind Radix Fried Chicken and near to Nirwana supermarket in Kubang Kerian.

The service is too slow. Maybe tak cukup staff. However the food is nice especially Ikan Pari Bakar Berempah, so worth jugak to wait.

Macam tahu lama tunggu (sebab tengok guest lain tak dapat makan lagi), ak pun pergi Nirwana jap beli aiskrim Wall's Gold Series untuk makan ramai-ramai. Beli dua perisa which are Hazelnut Brownies and Chocolate Truffles. Promotion price- RM4.38 each. Semua cakap Hazelnut lagi sedap except Pyy who prefer Chocolate Truffles.

Lepas habis tibai aiskrim, order pun sampai satu persatu. Macam dah rancang dengan tuan restoran.

Tomyam Udang.Bistik Telur.Ayam Goreng Kunyit.Kangkung Goreng

Tomyam dia ok, cukup rasa. Tapi sangat kosong, udang semata-mata. Bistik ok tapi kalaulah lagi banyak daging, sure lagi sedap! Ayam Goreng Kunyit lak nama jer ayam, tp ayam dua, tiga ketul jer. Kangkung Goreng boleh tahanlah rasanya.

Ikan Pari Bakar Berempah

Specialty kat sini memang ikan bakar pun. So, the main dish, kitaorg order Ikan Pari Bakar Berempah. Sedap kut dengan rempah yang asli ditambah ikan yang segar dan makan panas-panas. Betul-betul melantak kitaorg malam tu. Kenyang sampai nak tidur situ jer.

Overall, food kat sini memang nice and tak rugi to try. Tapi saya nasihatkan datang order siap-siap and kata nak makan pukul berapa and pergi shopping dulu, baru datang makan. Jimat sikit masa.

Chicken Chop?

Chicken Chop is one of the popular Western's food in Malaysia. There are variety of chicken chop with different style of cooks, gravy and texture. But for me, I like the most the one with black pepper gravy. For this entry, saya akan listkan beberapa chicken chop yang dah saya tried kat sekitar Kelantan ni. Nomnomnom!

@D'Klasik Kopitiam

Chicken chop D'klasik ni ok jer. Tp gravy sikit sangat, if they can put more, it'll be much better. Price dia standard kopitiam lah. Yang ni special punye, I think around rm12++. Kawan belanja, so tak ingat harga. D'Klasik Kopitiam is located in front of USM Kubang Kerian.

@Selera Cik Siti

Restoran Selera Cik Siti ni beroperasi 24 jam and memang popular dengan chicken chopnya. So, tak hairanlah rata-rata yang datang sini order chicken chop. It's served with garlic bread, coleslaw and some salads. By the way, the gravy is brown sauce. So, saya tak suka sangat tapi portion chicken chop quite besar lah. Kenyang makan. Alhamdulillah. Harga rm8.

@Cafe Harmoni

Harga chicken chopnya murah and sangat sesuai untuk student yang ingin sekali sekala menukar selera makan ke Western food. Harga rm6 without rice and rm7 with rice. Gravy black paper! So, kind of nice for me. Cafe Harmoni ni located in Usm Kubang Kerian, area between its library and Pusat Pengajian Sains Perubatan (PPSP).

@PK Corner

I think this is my most favaourite chicken chop right now. The chicken is crispy and black paper gravy is a lot enough. The portion is big! Mahu tersadai kenyang lepas makan. Harga rm7.50. Oklah. This restaurant situated in bandar Kota Bharu at traffic light Kamdar and opposite to CIMB Bank Jalan Kebun Sultan.

It's SeCret!

Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera to everyone.

How are you?? Hopefully all of you guys in the pink of health. Last night, my friends and I went to Secret Recipe. Talking about secret recipe, forsure the price is agak mahal for us as student. However, we planned to go secret recipe since there is promotion Buy 3 FREE 1!!! This promotion is to celebrate Secret Recipe 15th anniversary! Happy birthday Secret!

This was my 1st time dine-in at Secret, so don't know what to eat. I just ordered something with 'pelik' name. And here it's:

Chicken Cordon Bleu

Chicken Cordon Bleu- basically, it's only chicken chop wrapped with chicken slice and cheese. It's served with sweet corn and french fries. The cheese is too little for me, hehehe.. If secret can improve in future, the taste will be much better!

Ilman ordered Chicken Parmiagana. Amboi, nama tak nak kalah! I admit the taste is different and simply nice with mozarella cheese. A bit taste of bolognaise there.

For Aiman, he ordered Grilled Black Pepper Chicken since it's served with herb rice.. perut nasi, mane2 pergi mesti nak makan nasi.

For 1 FREE meal, we ordered Grilled Mushroom Chicken, nothing much different from Aiman's, just different gravy with some mushrooms. I don't know what kind of mushrooms, just telan.. hahaha.

Thai Food

Assalamualaikum everyone..

Yesterday was Wednesday,
Today is Thursday,
We-we-we so excited!

yeah! friday and saturday are weekend for those who staying or working or schooling in Kelantan. Today, I'm going to share with you about nice and delicious thing- thai food. Thai food is well known for its spiciness. Thai cooking emphasize on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components. To name Thai Food is a lot- Thai seafood tomyam, Thai roast duck in curry and etc. As Kelantan is located just beside Thailand, forsure some of Kelantan food is influenced by Thai way of cooking.

Last Time, my friends and i ate at Thai Square Restaurant. It's located in front of Kota Seri Mutiara, Kota Bharu at Jalan Sultan Yahya Petra. The setting of this restaurant is so-so and we just expect the food is so-so also. Some of our orders are Nasi Goreng Thai Square, Phat thai and ABC thai.

About 13 minutes waiting (which i think the service is fast), we started having our meal. And I tell you,, the food really really stimulate our taste bud.. The taste is just perfect! The food is balance of all our basic taste sense.

I really recommend this restaurant to all of you- Thai Square restaurant since the food is great, the presentation of food is nice, and most important the price is cheap!
